uGatsheni, Imfezemnyama To Perform at Inkatha Freedom Party Nquthu Rally On 6th April: The Inkatha Freedom Party is preparing for the upcoming General Elections, which will take place on May 29th, 2024, to elect a new National Assembly and provincial legislature in each province of South Africa. On March 10th, 2024, the Inkatha Freedom Party launched its campaign at a stadium in Durban, South Africa, which is considered the heartland of its Zulu base.

The IFP is planning to take their campaign to the next level by organizing a new rally on the 6th of April. The rally will be held at an open space opposite Nquthu Plaza in Umzinyathi District Municipality, located in the KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa. The rally is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and will take place on the same date as the grand finale of the Mother of Maskandi Festival Award.

The guest speaker for the occasion is the Inkatha Freedom Party KZN Premier candidate in the person of Hon AT Ntuli. Some well-known Zulu music artists are invited to the event to spice up the atmosphere on that day. Some artists invited to perform that day include uGatsheni; who just won the Best Newcomer against grammy award winner Tyla and Lebo Malope at Cultural Creative Industry Award 2024, Babes Wodumo, Dladla Mshunqisi, Q-Twins, Qinisi Nsele, Jaiva Zimnike, Imfezemnyama and Shendeldixa will all be performing that day.

The Inkatha Freedom Party has been a challenger to the ruling party in South Africa since the days of Nelson Mandela. However, IFP is facing new challenges even in its home province of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), which is a key electoral battleground. This comes at a time when the party is without its iconic founder and late leader, Mangosuthu Buthulezi.
